There are two main ways to find photos of Jude. There's the Kodak Gallery, if you have an invitation, and the Shutterfly Gallery for eveyone else. Read below for details.
We posted the photos on our KodakGallery.com photo site. If you're among our family or friends, you should have an invitation to the photo gallery in your e-mail inbox right now.
If you would like to see these photos (and others that we post), but you didn't receive an invitation, just contact us and ask. We can send one right out to you.
After you follow your first invitation link and create a KodakGallery login, you'll be able to go back there and log in to see the photos anytime you want.
Whenever we're on-the-go and want to share the sites with the world, we'll snap a photo with our cameraphone and instantly post it to our "Flickr" Web site. Check in anytime. You never know when we'll add something new. You may also find some higher quality photos taken with our regular digital camera, like the ones from Jamie's trip to D.C.
Our beloved cat, Mr. Kitten, who Mom liked to call Mr. Kitty, passed away early this morning, at about 3 a.m. He had shown signs of illness over the past few weeks, then suddenly got much worse yesterday and passed away at home.
Mom and Dad (the senior Bargers, as I call them) gave Mr. Kitten a great home over the past few years. I had him before that. He had been with me at five different apartments in two different cities.
Mr. Kitten had a very regal personality. He was always cool and confident -- and sometimes a little intimidating. He was also amazingly athletic and graceful, even for a cat. As a kitten he was never afraid to leap from any height. As an adult, he seemed able to leap up to any height, like the top of a seven-foot set of bookshelves, with surprising ease.
Mr. Kitten loved french fries. I think McDonalds fries were his favorite. But, he never turned down a Wendy's fry either. So, if there's a heaven for cats, I hope they have some fresh, hot fries and good climbing trees ready for him. He'll demand it.
Mr. Del Monte Kitten (1994-2006)
Most people didn't know Mr. Kitten's full name. He liked playing in a Del Monte bananas box when he was a kitten. Hence the name.
For example, you can see Jamie's photos from the 2005 Daytona 500 NASCAR race (added Feb. 23, 2005). Or, you can see what Charline looked like during the months before Jude arrived on the scene.
The original versions of all the images are much, much larger and sharper. We've scaled them down so you can get to them more easily.
We are not sure exactly what kind of dog Maggie is. Maybe you can help us figure this out after you see what she looks like. You can answer our on-line poll to tell us what dog breeds you think she has in her heritage.
NOTE: This information is a little redundant, but we're leaving it here anyway...
We've set up a couple different Jude photo albums on-line. One is on the Kodak Gallery web site (formerly Ofoto.com). The other is on the Shutterfly web site. If/when we decide that one is clearly better, we'll simplify things and just move everything over to that one.
Friends and family can view the larger collection of photos on the Kodak Gallery web site. If you'd like to see them, just contact us and we'll send you the e-mail invitation that gets you in.
We're past two years of marriage -- and it seems like just yesterday that we were trying to figure out what kind of icing to use on the wedding cake. Mmmmm... cake... That was some tasty stuff.
We still have some of that wedding cake in our freezer. We had intended to eat it on our one year anniversary, but we forgot. Can you believe that? We see this stupid thing every time we open the freezer -- and we had been talking about thawing it out -- and yet we still forgot.
Even though we missed the chance to finish off the cake on the exact day of our anniversary, we still might be brave enough to take a bite of it to commemorate the occassion. We'll let you know how that goes. Don't worry, we're only a few blocks from a hospital. We're sure they can treat whatever ailment one gets from eating year-old wedding cake.
See Where We’ve Been - Photos from the Road
Whenever we're on-the-go and want to share the sites with the world, we'll snap photos with our camera-phones and instantly post them to our "Flickr" Web site. Check in anytime. You never know when we'll add something new.
You really would be amazed at how easy it is. We can aim our cell phone at something, take the photo, and upload it to the Web, where it instantly shows up on our Flickr page page for you to see. Amazing!
See our Photographs page for other types of photos.
Breaking Bread
That's us in a London pub, during Charline's semester abroad, while she was working on her undergraduate literature degree at Flagler College. This is one of our favorite photos. Note the piece of bread in the foreground and the view out the window in the background. Not bad considering that the photographer is in the photo, eh? (Jamie set up the camera, using napkins as a makeshift tripod.)
Tori Amos at Charline’s Graduation Ceremony
When Charline graduated from Flagler College (St. Augustine, Florida), an old friend flew over from Cornwall, England to be at the ceremony.
I had forgotten that we had this photo of Charline, her friend Tori Amos, and me, taken right after the graduation ceremony. Then, when I was reorganizing some files today, I found it. So, here it is.
You might recognize Tori Amos. Charline tells me she's some sort of celebrity. I think she plays the piano.
Images from the Wedding (added September 8, 2002)
Some of our wedding photographs, taken by our professional wedding photographers. If you have photos from our wedding, we'd love to see them and/or get some copies.
